Default Timing belt for 95 Accord

I don't know if this belongs in tech or in Accord, sorry but I was wondering what I would need to do to fix my timing belt, I would like to replace it, but I'd like to get a couple friends over and do it one day, just wondeing about how hard it is on a scale of 1-4 stars, and about how long it takes as well, THANX.

I consider my self mechanically inclined but I wouldn;t trust myself to do a honda timimg belt

I would recommend you not change the timing belt your self unless you really know what you doing. An incorrect install could be very dangerous. If the belt breaks while your driving on the freeway expect to get a new egine and a lot of other things in the engine comparment.

i agree with what everyone else has said. it is something that should be left to someone who knows what they are doing which is either a honda dealer or someone who specializes in hondas.

actually the timing belt on my Honda was far easier to replace than on any VW or Audi I've ever worked on. Install time was approx 4 hours, but that's because I also did the water pump, thermostat, and a few other tuneup items.

VW/Audis are ridiculous, my friend needs his done on his S4 soon. it cost like $1,000 cause the to do it.

Yeah well the front bumper has to come off, and the entire lock carrier has to be loosened and pulled back just to get access to the front of the engine. You can't even replace the damn DRIVE belt without pulling the lock carrier back. I tell you, german cars are a f*cking joke.
