if you dont need all the power why pay more for what you dont need? if you got a big stereo go for it sounds like a great deal...

i'm not running a big system,yet. i have
2 audiobahn amps
1 15" rock punch sub in a box
2 JL 9x6's
kenwood radio

collecting dust... nothing to loud

I got another quote on that remanufactered one...
they offered it to me for
$100 with 3yrs. warenty
Doesn't change anythign does it...
I should still go with the 165amp one?

where are you gettin it from? i could use a 165A alternator too

alpine MRV-1507 + two alpine MRV-757 = lotta current draw :thumbup:

I just took a look and the cat changed it
So this is what he has up on EBAY ...
but keep in mind your taking your chances with ebay.
$179 for 135 amps
$229 for 150 amps

heck yeah! and get a couple more for us here on the board so that we can have a 165-amp too.

also think of it in terms of: running a 165 amp alt @ 20% is better than running an 80 amp alt at 75% load

Ight.. i finally got the alternator.....
Now for the installation?
I dont have the haynes book yet... so can anyone guide me to where i can find a step by step on it.
