Chicago owners watch out!
Damn, it's gettin crazy up in here. I don't know if you guys remember, but last week I got a ticket for tints while my car was PARKED. First time even hearing of that.
Well this past weekend, my friends wanted me to drive to a club so I ended up taking down 2 beers real quick b4 heading out. Guess what, I got pulled over! Started stressin thinking I was gonna get a DUI or something (trust me I was REALLY sober but I was afraid the cop would be a dick). Turns out he pulled me over for my tints. He lets me off, but later I end up getting parking ticket for parking under a viaduct? --> $30 bux
I don't know what it is, but I think the city of Chicago is in need of some big bones, so if ya'll live here, watch out.

Yea I had tint on the front of my accord for like 3 years and all of a sudden I kept getting busted. I got tint tickets in Rosemont and Des Plaines but just warnings in Chicago. so I just took the front tint off and now there is no excuse for them to pull me over. Where in Chicago do you stay and where did you get pulled over?
I think the city needs a likl $$$$ that's why they are coming up with this kinda ****. It was always illegal in chicago to tint the front two doors, but they never ticketed parked cars for it. Think about the new "Click it or ticket" law. Seems to me like they are just doing it just to make some extra money.
They just need a way to make more revenue and thats why they started enforcing it in chicago more. A few years back they were inpounding cars for loud music then they rewrote the law. Its a ***** sometimes but I still love my city regardless.
i feel you guys... i moved to iowa with my Acccord from FL where anything goes when it comes to tint (pretty much). I moved up here with 5% on all windows except for a sunstrip up frontwindshield. anyway .. i **** u not the DAY i got an Iowa plate.. pulled over 3 times. aparantly here u can do whatever you want to the back but the fronts = no tint??? I hate the north... i tried to explain to the popo i dont like people peeping my a/v equipment etc.
i was in chicago 2 months ago and i got parking ticket by the lake (whatever the road is by the field museum) for 50.00 for an expired meter.. it expired like 4 minutes before i walked back to put more $ in it... i bet the meter maid was standin there. i also watched them 'tow' some poor guys car.. the fork lifted it basically onto the street and dragged it off... you chicago ppl are hardcore!!!

I think ticketing for tinted windows is pointless. I'm sure there's something within a huge city like Chicago that deserves priority over something that somebody did to their car.
