stick shift vs. auto
ex for numerous reasons:
painted side moldings
painted side skirts (not sure on this one - i think it differs by year)
sun roof
alloy wheels
4 wheel disc brakes
and some other good stuff I cant remember

Really depends what ur gonna use the car for. If you wanna race, do engine mods, possible engine swap, etc.. you want the manual tranny. If you don't place on doing any of that stuff get the ex auto. It will look nicer and have more options. Besides the auto has vtec and u said the manual didn't so thats sorta a plus.

Not to mention added rear sways, VTEC, upgraded stereo, more hp all of which the LX lack. I also think those moldings, rims make the car look much better too. In stick form out of teh box teh Ex is a better handler.
Accords can be made faster and to handle better, but sports cars they'll never be even with a stick.
