All you need is a 1 1/2 lbs. or 22 oz. worth of 134a and a an adaptor to fit into the system.
R-12 is still available in the US. it's ungodly expensive though, with a 30lb bottle running a little over $500 last time i bought any for the dealership, and that was a deal. R-134a comparatively runs about $120 for a 30lb bottle.

1994 was the year all vehicles were federally mandated to be running R-134a from the factory. honda changed over all their cars in 1992. being a 1995 vehicle, your car uses R-134a regardless, so don't worry bout it.
