alright. i just tested one LED and i know the polaity of it and it works. now the main problem is figuring out which wires run power and which is the ground. once i get those wires i think things will start to roll. i thought the green w/ yellow wire was the power and the black is the ground but when i tap those wires and try to signal, it doesn't work. do you know which wires do what?

bust out a voltage tester. if u hook it up correctly it'll read a positive number, if u hook it up wrong it'll give u the exact same number but negative. I believe the long prong on the led is the positive while the short prong is negative.

i think i'm gonne invest in one of those this week. but the this about the LEDs is that since they are connected in series, there is no long and short prong. they're all the same size, lol

i c what you mean heheh. but i finally got them to blink!!! i just tried 1 and the fuse blew, so i figured if i try 4, which is the most it can take from a 9V battery before going faint with 5, that should be perfect and i am right!!! no i hope that if i do the rest in parallel series the mod will be complete!! thanks for all your help guys

it's finally DONE!!! ....except for the hyper blinking, lol. i still need to find the right resistor i need for that though. 4 hours of learning LEDs finally payed off. thanks for all your help guys. and as a side note, it's about 5 times brighter on the car than in the pic because thats only with a 9V battery
