Seems as though my trunk latch (not locking mechanism) is failing. Had some trouble closing the trunk. Got it working temporarily but it is likely to fail again.

Is this a part I can replace myself with some basic tools? I searched only for the part but don't get any decent search results; mostly about the locking mechanism or about opening a trunk that is stuck closed (not my case).

So, can the part be bought online for less than $60 and is it a relatively simple replacement? Thanks.
