The 5th gen Accord, which was about the size of the TSX, sold horribly because it was too small and too underpowered for US consumers. American consumers want size, power, and comfort. The US Accord is a lot bigger than the TSX and can accomodate a V6 engine, something the TSX cannot.
Ah, I knew my 5th gen seemed a little small feeling after I sat in a civic 4-door. The new civic seems just as big, if not a little bigger than my 5th gen accord....As for the NSX thing...I'd hope they would be smart enough to put more than 330hp in the new NSX but hey look at it now, maybe they like that whole "underpowered but handling and looking great" trend.

the 5th gen sold horribly? where did you hear this? they're everywhere. i think it's size is perfect, inside and out. an h22 would fix the power issues.

Didn't they sell like 350,000 a year? That sounds pretty good to me.

Yeah I know it wasn't number one but wasn't it right up there with the camry and the taurus almost every year?

I mean there has to be a reason why there are two or three different 5th gens in the top 10 most stolen cars in the USA....

Why are they re-doing the NSX when we just got the new one?

The phrase I used was in relative terms. The Camry kicked its ass in sales.

we didn't get a "new" one. That's like saying the 96 accord was "new" when it came out.
