Refinance. The bad economy is your friend for low interest rates. You can easily chop that number in half.

thanks for the reply guys, but i dont know if trying to pay for it is a good idea. My payments every month is 389.33 dollars and i still have 45 months left, which equal to about 17k dollars. I had no credit to begin with, so they forced a shitty 10.6% interest rate on me, which made me pay so much.
Wait a minute...your family has already paid $16,000 and you still owe $17K???

$16k+$17k=$33k

25 months + 45 months=70 months

70 months x $389.33=$27253.10

prolly had a $6k down payment....its a shame that interest makes that accord worth more than a CLS or TLS...which is why I'd never go into debt for a car if I can avoid it (buy a cheaper car or a used one or walk)...

Well it isn't really all that easy to find a job, especially one to pay for his car. Even if he worked @ McDonald's or someplace like that, he would virtually be working for the car, every penny going into it in the form of the car payment, gas, and upkeep. It's easy to shout out "solutions" until you actually put yourself in his shoes and feels what he feels.
He's already paid 25 months worth, which means he got the car around the end of 2000, beginning of 2001, when the economy started to go bad, but no one knew just how bad it would get, so that's probably a factor as to why he got it. And what is it w/ these banks saying to call them and they will "work something out?" Translation: Call and tell us when you will make the next payment, or we will keep bothering you up until the point we just take the car back. I think people generally know that they owe them money and would send it to them if they could, duh.
Put it in storage somewhere and pray, and then go play lotto.

Hey peeps, maybe he cant find a job or somthing... :P

I mean I just turned 18, had to get a new car because my old one that I got free blew up, but anyway I had money in the bank and got a 2003 accord, but still cant seem to find a job and I live in Orlando... I can only pay for my car for about 8 more months.

So its not always easy to just say go find a job.

My sis grad. from college with 2yr degree and has hard time finding a job too.

I have tryed everything from theme parks to call centers, to public type stores...

So saying get a job is not as easy is actually finding one.

Speaking of which anyone in ORL, FL hireing or know of any place hireing?
