wow, really? i havent seen one lit up, thats pretty crazy. . .
ive read up on this because i wanted white for a while too and what i found was that manufacturers didnt do it because it was a safety hazard. Its kind of like having your dome light on while you drive at night, it decreases the ability of your eyes to see details outside the car. Id be curious to see one of those cars at night though, only test drove the accord during the day.

and if you ever ride in one at night, you'll notice that the gauges are white.
i'm looking into several possible DIY solutions, including getting my own EL panels made, using EL wires, or just using LEDs. i think EL would provide a more even light dispersion, but probably would be more expensive.

2003 accord ones are WHITE led's... If left at default people 4 cars back can see how fast your going, LOL when I first got the car my dad was like 4 cars back and was like HEY your going 85...
They where so damn bright, but I got them turned down now and they are def. LED...
