I guess I must not understand what I'm reading . . . but I just looked again and, when you look up that center console module with the radio and the AC controls, it really does say Alpine for some and Stanley for others . . . what are they talking about? Maybe they're all Alpine . . . (I may be reading this stuff wrong - I looked it up earlier trying to find out who made my radio and speakers, just out of curiosity. I thought Stanley just made garage door openers!)

FYI

Most Satelitte radios are installed with an fm-modulator, which allows the satelitte signal to be "tuned-in" through an fm station.

The alternate way to input satelitte source, is through a direct, hard-wired connection. I choose this way as it will provide the clearest source. This is commonly done, with use of an adapter plug, connected to the CD changer input plug.

Unfortunately, an adapter plug is not yet available for the 2003 model, therefore, I must build one.

Gotta get the manufactuers wiring diagram, or pin-out for the existing plug.

Any info is helpful.

Thanks,
Hank

Soundgate has a CD changer adapter with RCA inputs, part number SNHOND3, that might do what you need.

There is an American Stanley that makes hardware and tools and a Japanese Stanley that makes lighting products. No relation. Just FYI, the word Stanley pops up a lot on this forum

Try our audio and electronics forum if you still can't figure it out.

So you were looking for a plug that goes from the AUX on the 2003 accord deck to rca plugs? If thats what it is could you post what the part number there was...cause I need the same thing! Thanks.

Glad to hear it. Let me know how it works out, as I'd like to do the same for my 20GB hard-drive MP3 player. I am currently content with my FM transmitter from C Crane, especially since both the player and the transmitter fit nicely in the center console and there's a power outlet in there. Before I got the Accord, I was concerned about station bleed-through since the radio antenna is always "up", but it's been fine for the two weeks we've had the car so far.
