Default squeeling brakes - help

ok so i changed my brake pads about a month ago, and i've had a squeeling brake problem since then. It didn't happen at first, but after a couple weeks i noticed the brakes would squeel when pulling to a stop, after they have warmed up a bit from driving. Since then, I have taken off all four pads and tried putting a different anti-squeel compound on the back, and the noise is back. So I'm thinking the squeel is from the pad/rotor, not the back of the pad/piston. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this squeel ? I hate it and it makes my car sound cheap. I'm thinking of trying a different kind of pad maybe, does anyone know of ones that don't make any noise? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are a few different sprays you can pick up at PepBoys that claim to get rid of the noise.

i've tried the pink cream like shit that you spread on it, and i've tried some blue spray, neither of them have eliminated the noise, which is why i think it might be the actual pad side that is making the noise ?

I have this same problem and it drives me crazy. My car will be all shiny and nice looking, then I put the brakes on and it sounds like a damn public transit bus:angry: so what spray are you guys talking about?

I had same problem with previous Accord.. Replaced with aftermarket pad.. Semi-metallic... what ever it was....

Honda OEM pads are also semi-metallic...
Best chance is get OEM pads...

My current Accord has OEM honda brake pad and no squeek noise what so ever..

one thing you gotta know about hondas, if you don't get OEM that shits gonna squeek like hell, trust me. i just replaced my breaks with OEM breaks from Honda, one of my buddies works there so i got them for cheap " $37." i got the pads the metal plates and the OEM grease anti-squeek stuff, works like a charm. Plus it's a lot cheaper than buying some crappy schuks brand. One of my buddies spent like 90 on breaks from schucks then another 30 on anti-squeek stuff. and his breaks still squek like hell. If you don't know someone who works at Honda, perhaps i can see if i can send you some... that is if you wanted....

peace
