spring installation
How much should I expect to pay for installation of a set of lowering springs (Neuspeed Sports)?
Also, what is the difficulty level of self installation? What tools would I need and what else is required in order to do this?

yes get some aftermarket springs.....im goin after koni yellows next month.......but for my install.....its jus 3-4 hrs time, basic tools and a spring compressor wit my friend.......it would be a waste to pay to put springs in
a helms manual, rent a spring compressor, and basic tools, and a friend to help and keep you company.
expect to pay around $25 a wheel. most shops i asked wanted $100 to install my springs and struts. so i just did it myself. took a few hours, wasnt hard at all.

one thing to remember if you do it yourself... if you put on a camber kit at the same time... when you unbolt the front upper control arm from the frame don't let that shiz rotate outward too far. if you do your cv joint will separate and you have to remove the cv boot and repack the bearings which is a mofo. other than that you just unbolt the spring/strut assembly, compress the spring, take the spring end caps off, replace old springs and struts with the new ones and put it all back together. pretty simple.
