Default desparate help - spring installation

okay i need desparate help.. i bought some tokico blues and eibach sportlines for my 98 civic EX coupe.. however, the front springs part number is 4017.002 and the rear is 4018.001 .. i checked the eibach site and many others and these part numbers don't even exist

when we installed the springs it was supposed to be only a 1.8" drop.. but it's waaay more than that, the wheel is like in the fender and rubs when i turn hard.. i used to have neuspeed race springs which are supposed to have more of a drop than the sportlines.. what happened? do i have the right springs??

yes i remembered to put in the bumpstops.. when we took them out they had 4 "rings" or "folds" and i cut one of them off cuz JDMfan told me too.. ahh this really sux, my car is SO low.. anybody have any ideas or have some really really good spring installation guides?

I don't know what to tell ya other than that you were sold seperate sets of springs. Are the top and bottom of the coils still have paint on them or have they been modified in any way?

Ummm...Used.

Are you positive that they are sportlines? Sportlines are red and say eibach sportline on them. A thought came across my mind; If your car is really, really low someone may have sold you the spring part of ground control coliovers(ground controls use red eibach springs). If might be a crazy idea, but it is possible. Sportlines are the lowest drop eibach has. Bump stops should not effect the drop of your car and they do need to be cut. On the car sportlines will usually drop you 2". Do they look cut in any way? I have sportlines on my integra and they in no way do my wheels tuck in my wheel wells. What kind of wheels are you running? Either they are not sportlines or they are the wrong one for your car. What kind of drop are we talking about any way?

they might be Sprints...if so, they will drop lower than the Eibachs. POS springs though.

is it that low all around? if only the front is low, you may have switched the springs...the rear springs are going to have less spring rate because the back doesn't need to support the weight of the engine and everything under the hood.

otherwise, the coilover springs are only 6-8 inches long, if memory serves me correct. good luck with everything.
