i think H&R/Neuspeed(whichever you can find cheaper, they're the same exact springs) will be your best bet. i've heard of people with eibachs that don't settle evenly and the car sits all funkdified.

I'm not too sure about how long it will take to settle, since each car, spring, and driving condition is different :dunno: If I ever get springs, I'm going to measure the ride height every few days until it reaches the advertised drop...

Also, my next question, If your lowered and it has settled and your using Stock wheels and rubber then you decide to change rims to aftermarket wheels and rubber, would you need another alignment? or no?
No. I changed to 18" rims and did not need an alignment. The same should apply if you have a drop.

Oh, I heard that you can lower you car even more by using perches??? What are they? how much can you lower your car with that?
Well, the Koni Sport Shocks (AKA Koni Yellows) have a perch that the spring sits on. The position of the perch can be adjusted by changing the groove that it sits on, which will adjust the ride height by a small amount. Koni does not recommend that you adjust the perches when using aftermarket lowering springs, but people still do it anyways :dunno: Here's a good DIY on installing springs, and it shows the perches on the Konis:

BTW, the Neuspeed Edition Edition Koni Shock has more perches than the regular Koni, but the above install should be exactly the same as the regular Konis.

Hey,

Thanks for the reply...I have ordered some Neuspeed sport springs. I hope that they are good. I was wondering if I will be needing a camber kit? Also, will I be ok running on stock shocks for a while? (like more than a year?) Anybody using Neuspeed sport springs on 98+ accords?

I think you may need a camber kit for the Neuspeed Sports:

hondaboi, you didn't buy them based on /^Blackmagik^\ 's statement did you? Because the Neuspeed Sports are 1.8"F/1.7"R, while the H&R Sports are 1.5"F/1.2"R. I think he may have been referring to the fact that H&R makes or was making Neuspeed Springs.

hi LX4CYL:

I think your right, I will probably need a camberkit. I guess its a good investment compared to new tires every 30miles..hahaha How much are camberkit anyways? (front and back) and what brand is good? I heard SPC is not a good brand because it "moves?"

Oh regarding the purchase. My decision was not based on "blackmagik's" statement. I had found a good deal on a new set of neuspeed springs so that why I got that. I acctually was not getting reply from HONDA-ACURA saying that people have been replying to this thread. hahaha, MY first one was today and it was like people were posting already.

That site with the neuspeed and koni diy is a good site. That owner had done alot to his accord. Headers, exhaust, intake, suspension and etc...pretty nice!

yeah, he's filbert from hondasociety, but that site is down right now...

anyways, I'm not too sure about what brand of camber kit is good. I think you will have to choose between Eibach, Specialty Products, and Ingalls?
