I'll let it slide just this once.

Only because you know a lot more about Honda's than me.

....NSX obviously can't have much in common
what makes you so sure the NSX has a completely different tranny. It is a mid-engine car is it not? So it uses transversly mounted tranny just like its FWD counterparts.

the pinstripes could go... if they're removable.
Got it from the dealer that way. I am really trying to figure out whether to keep it our risk trying to take it off.
here is a full size pic where you can see the pinstripe better. What do you guys think?

The NSX has nothing in common with the CL-S/Accord transmission.

Take off the pinstripe, BTW.

it actually doesnt look too bad on your car... but take it off... especially now that the car is new, the paint hasnt faded under the stripe... it shouldnt be too hard either... try using a blowdryer first. Its just the sticker kind right? not painted on?

Except for that pesky 1997-1999 Acura 3.0CL.

My recommendation for your V-6 Coupe would be to add a CAI and catback exhaust as they come out. It should have substantially more bark.

WTF IS WRONG WITH ME TODAY? (That engine was the exact same as in the 98-2002 Accord V6, UVA)

But ahah: I got you on one point. There was no 2000 CL :fawk:

That is what I was talking about. Is their any similarities to my J30A2? I remeber hearing that motor had lots of problems, did honda drop the design?

Read my last post. It's the exact same as the J30A1 in the 98-02 Accord V6.

The engine had zero problems except for a 1.6% chance of transmission failure (which really isn't the engine's fault) and an EGR that liked to give up at around 40k miles, right out of warranty. Lots of people have had that happen.
