it's not the air sucking noise..it's something else...the one they guy is talking about..its annoying...WHAT SCREW?????

All CAI's whistle, it is normal. It's the air entering the piping. If you don't like it, but the stock piping back in or get a Comptech Icebox.

I believe the whistling comes from the oiled filter element, though I have never tested that theory.

I think I'm having the same problem with my K&N drop in with the stock intake and resonator. It happens sometimes at startup/idle, and in the low RPM range (when rolling around a praking lot etc.). I plan to put the the stock filter back in to see if it goes away.

Do you all think that cleaning the Throttle Body may alleviate the whistling problem we're all having? It seems as though these intakes are only amplifying a noise we normally can't hear :dunno:

I dont know why you would be complaining about noise...Is it just me or it it just a well known fact that intakes and exhaust's give some added noise...less restrition is going to equal more noise...

i get mine after shifting into gear and giving some throttle, not hard throttle but like low-med percentage.
