Fuel Quantity Gauge
My Fuel Quantity Indicator is just crasy. The needle of my 94 Accord do not indicate the right quantity. Sometimes, the tank is full and my gauge shows an empty tank.
Someone have that problem before ???
Thanks

Thanks for your comment,
However, I think it as something to do with the probe in the tank itself because the indication never goes off completly. I have sometime low fuel light on. Also, the needle never reach the "Full" line even when just fill the tank.
By the way, your logo at the end of your message is very cool !

The sender for that gauge is in the tank. On the 6th gen its mounted in with the fuel pump, maybe '94 is similar. There's a float on a lever. You get to it thru the floor of the trunk, there's a round cover you take off. Then you see the actual fuel tank, take off that next cover & pull the whole unit out of the gasoline. Try not to set it on fire when you do this...
I have a 94...it does kinda the same thing, never reaches the full when i fill it up, never goes up past the 3/4 mark...its all good though just makes me think its empy when it still has a quarter left...
I have same problem with my current 93 Accord!

I just saw another thread like this about 5th gen Accords on, ummm, another BB. I guess you have to drop the gas tank because when you open the access cover in the trunk, it doesn't line up with the pump/sender assembly. So it might not be as easy as I made it sound...
