Hello from London! H23A question...
Hi,
I'm doing a little bit of research at the moment. We have a fairly low key, subtle car over here called the Rover 623, which has the H23A engine. I just bought one and I'm looking into what can be done with it. Obviously I've heard of the H22 conversion, but I want to know what I can do with the existing engine before I consider going down that route!
I've done some searching, here and on other forums, but I'm not too clear about whether or not performance cams exist for this engine. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Looking forward to learning lots.

wazzup man. When ever I hear h23a it always refers to a turbo kit. The h23a is suppose to have a tougher block then the h22a for boost so you can look at that route.

Thanks for the info.
I'm collecting the car on Friday and there are a few minor bodywork issues to sort out. Once these are taken car of pics will follow. It won't be much to look at, as it is totally standard and I aim to keep it that way externally - the stealth approach!
