Wow I'm surprised someone actually shelled out the loot for that badboy.

Did you use an F22 tranny or an H22? Have you broken it in or is it that indestructible?

either way very cool!

its not a f22 or h22 tranny at all they did custom tranny mounts for whateva tranny they used. its a custom rebuilt racing tranny i forget from what car. it pulls like no ones business and the torque converter makes a lovely (i mean lovely) sound when it hits into 2nd and 3rd gear (kinda like a soft sounding blow off valve) i'm broken it in some what need different gears though and hte tranny tuned to the car more. i've been able to keep up with alot of stick shift cars with stronger engines and light weight than my car but when my gears switch pior to VTEC is when they start to pull on me though. howeva i gain very very quickly. once the gears are changed around and its tuned more to how my engine goes then it'll be on. in teh process now of redoing my altinator cuz i'm losing massive amounts of power and its not recharging fast enough. hopefully i can go down to ETOWN this weekend and run my car down the track for $10 and see how i do with my current setup and heavy ass rims

LOL i thought about doing the same thing cuz the car wash f&cked them up when sprayed acid on them. its slowly cleaning off but yeah i'm scratched 1 or 2 of them pretty bad. would leave the lip chrome (polished) though.. any pics of your rims? what color car you have?

but as for the civic si...it'll be totally different story when you guys only have drivers in each cars...

with i/h/e, i once took 99 si down...i had worse start, but in 3rd, i caught up and passed it...by 90mph, si was 3 car lengths behind me...

but this was only because i had my gf with me while the si had 3 guys....

civics will slow down a lot when there's some weight involved...

but with that aside, good job with the transmission...pretty impressive mod with switching individual gears and all...
i've raced my bother b4 though and my boys RSX-S and i'm able to keep up with both of them thru the early part of 1st gear (especially the RSX-S) but thats about it then i'm chasing them the rest of the way. with my mods i was able to keep up (minus passengers) with the same car that spanked me months b4 (when he didnt have mods & now he has i/e) thats a good thing. most accords can keep up w/ an SI in any year since we have more torque to the wheels howeva once the VTEC engages its all ova for the accord (refering to I4's)
