Default Shaven Side Moldings... Post Pics!

I'm considering shaving my side moldings before I get my paint job... I wanna see some close-up pics of what it'd look like, and how hard the process is first though. Please post your pics here if you've done it.

you can get "door poppers" for that the only down sides are that if your battery goes dead you cant get into your car and in most applications theres an external popping switch (makes easy to get in/out of car w/o remote)

i did mine myself with my uncle (he's a bodyman) 1st you have to weld up the holes then you can use bondo to smooth it all out and keep the body lines etc. then paint it. I think to have a shop do it though it costs around $100-$200 per door

and yes i have door poppers to get in and out and i also have a switch hidden in case the door remotes go dead and on top of that i have hood pins and no hood lock so i can get to the battery if need be

What about for the side moldings though not the door handles? All you need to fill the holes is Bondo, right?

no you can't just fill them in with bondo they have to be welded up or the bondo will just crack
