i did mine myself with my uncle (he's a bodyman) 1st you have to weld up the holes then you can use bondo to smooth it all out and keep the body lines etc. then paint it. I think to have a shop do it though it costs around $100-$200 per door

and yes i have door poppers to get in and out and i also have a switch hidden in case the door remotes go dead and on top of that i have hood pins and no hood lock so i can get to the battery if need be
