Where can I get this "Gliptone" soap?
You have never seen it? Well, its in a big jug, and its a thick, pink syrup...on the label, it says "GLIPTONE Wash N Glow" and you can get it at the major auto parts chains----sometimes, this stuff is considered so professional, I cant find it in the auto supermarkets like Auto Barn; I gotta find it in small little private performance shops....but most of the time, you can get it in the major stores---they are always out of it. Tell me if you ever find it and if you used it and like it; when you pour the soap into the bucket and add water, the soap "glows" this bright pink color; the car ends up looking awesome at the end of the wash.

Dishwashing soap and/or claybar will do this. Dishwashing soap is bad to use otherwise because it has de-greasing agents that will break down the wax on your car. But it's good if that's what you want it to do.
I didnt know that about the clearcoating issue, but I sure know not to use dishwashing or laundry soaps on the surface of a shiny, waxed vehicle! I have had experience with that stuff eating through my paint....its toxic...
