Trust me, it's not photoshopped. Look at the rear bumper...see the little line just above the rear lip? That line is only on the 01-02's.

The owner may actually be on this board.

And when someone says the OEM kit for the coupes don't fit on the 01-02, they are right. The car has to be modified...you have to swap the front bumper, and you have to modify the rear for it to work. The sideskirts fit without modification.
No, its not that I dont believe you....I was just making sure for the sake of the guy who originally posted the inquiry; I see the rear line, and realize that the line is only on the 01/02s; it wasnt so clear originally that more-than-moderate mods have to be made on these cars for the kits to fit; the front and rear bumpers have to be modified for the kits to fit----I can see that as clear as day because the front had a facelift job, with different intake sculpting and such, and the rear the same----with apparent cut outs for the exhaust tips, etc, which did not appear on the 98-00 models. Yet it seemed that, upon first glance, the sideskirts wouldnt fit either because of the way the factory side sills looked different from the 98-00 models; but as you guys pointed out, sills are removed before body kit work begins.

Bottom line: To the original poster of this inquiry, apparently the 98 and up OEM body kits will fit your 02 model.

Bottom line is I answered the original poster's inquiry in the very first response on this thread. All this crap was to convince you, not him.

You can't just say, it "will fit your 02 model" as you just did. It will...but you need a 98-00 front bumper, and you must modify the rear lip/bumper.

Convince me about what? I drive a 99, not an 02, so what do I give a shit about? What are you talking about? Okay, so, the bottom line is that the kit will fit with the mods, so? Okay...so? He got his questioned answered....I was asking you something about what I was told by the corporation's Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association representatives DIRECTLY from the body kit people -- either they made it unclear to me or they didnt know about the necessary mods, but in the end, it was to help him out.

Schmiddy,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I was at the SEMA show a couple years back, and I was bull***itting with the guys at the Honda booth and they were telling me that the sculpted sides of the 01/02 coupes are completely different from the 98-00 versions, and that the OEM kit was dropped (offered in dealerships) after 00 because they werent selling and also because they would no longer fit on the 01/02 coupes...if you look at the sides of the "facelifted" sixth generation coupes from 2001 and 2002, you can see where the side sills look a bit different from the 98-00 models; they look less "straight edged" and more "curvy"; its the only way I can describe it....now, I dont know about the rear and front, as you mention, but are you sure the SIDE skirts will fit on his 2002?
Then when I answered your question, you came back with:

are you sure you arent seeing a 2000 model that MAY accommodate the 98-99 OEM kit?
Again, I told you that I was sure, I even showed you a picture! Then you came back with this:

are you sure this Special Edition coupe is not photoshopped? It is a real photo of someone's car?
Again, I explain that it's real. Then you post this:

which is not correct. It won't just FIT. Modifications, and additional purchases must be made. That's stuff you want to know about if you are planning on buying the kit.

I dunno about you man...sorry. I try to help you understand, and all you ever want to do is argue. Every thread it seems like.

I don't think I'll try to answer your questions in the future. Not worth anymore of my time.

Yeah good, precisely....because EVERY ONE OF MY REPLIES, POSTS AND COMMENTS ARE TAKEN COMPLETELY out of context by you----you do it every-single-time...never fails. Please dont comment to me, and I will not ask you questions anymore---

Still, I will say it again---to the poster of this inquiry, WITH the modifications mentioned, the kit WILL apparently fit.
