Thanks for the reply and as soon as I can pickup my baby I'll be sure to grab some pictures for you all...

...I'm also really new to most everything car related never mind accords and I won't even have my license till August so if and when I ask any questions any and all help I can get is extremely appreciated... thanks in advance guys

I dont think so. Did you but a "short ram" or a full Cold Air Intake?
Does the filter sit in the engine bay or the fender? But I dont think you will be in trouble.

full CAI (fender). It's a two piece pipe. I was thinking of putting an AEM filter on it... not sure about that one yet; depends on performance increase. If it's minimal, I'll try the AEM filter.

If you want get a K&N filter locally, thats the best filter you can buy really. The AEM filter is just designed off of a K&N but supposidly gets you 1-2 extra HP somehow.

Yeah, just put on a K&N filter. Thats your best bet.
