Default How do I get my taillights off?

I have no idea how to take the taillights off my car...I found two bolt things inside under covers, two screws in the wheel well(one on each side) and took out 3 screws from the back of each light...but I still can't get the lights out or the bumper off...how do i get it off?

Instructions for tail light removal:

1.) Unplug and remove wiring harnesses and bulbs.
2.) Strike tail lights many times with a hammer, being sure to break out all red, white, and amber.
3.) Use claw end of hammer to remove back plastic portion of light. Some breakage may occur.
4.) Step back and scratch head and wonder why these instructions were followed.

unscrew the screws in the rear wheel wells, that attach to the bumper. Should be 3. Then pop the bumper out of place from under the lights. The pull off the two plastic covers under the trunk lid (At the bottom where the trunk closes.)and undo the 2 bolts. The bumper should then drop 3 inches. Then there are 2 screws under each light. attaching the light to a black metal piece under the light. After that go into the access panel in the trunk and undo the three hex nuts. Then the lights should pop right out. (ps. yes you have to remove the bumper to get the lights out!)
