I wanted to get a new exhaust but didn't want to spend like 500 bucks so i am looking at just the mufflers on procarparts.com and autodynamic. Would these just bolt on or would i have to have them welded on? Also, would i have trouble passing inspection or with cops if i had one of these mufflers? The one i was looking at currently is this one. Any other suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

yep thats a weld... you have to spend some greenbacks to get the bolt on ones like HKS, GReddy, the name brands. welding shoulndt be that much but if youre careful enough you can get away maybe $100 or so with the one you want..soooo just save your money and just get the bolt on.

 

im sorry, but that is the gayest muffler. i can't stand seeing those on cars. they sound like ass too. there is no reason to just get the muffler either, so it would make sense to save up for the complete system. sorry to hate, but i had to.

honestly they're not that loud... (it's not the same muffler, but these were the quietest of almost any exhuast i've ever heard. including comptechs.)
