Default New Tires

I need to eventually get 4 new tires for my Accord (94 EX Wagon), I think... I bought a new rim (another stock one from a junkyard.. 50$.. My old one was scratched pretty bad)... ANd one of my tires is ****ed up so I figure I may as well just get four, right?... Whyat kind of tires should I get, and how much do they go for? I figure I'll just have them put the four tires on all the rims that I'm going to be using, then I'll have my scratched one as my spare.. Be nice having an original stock rim for a spare. =)

I just purchased a set of Falken Ziex ZE-512 size 215/55/16 from discounttiredirect.com for $397 shipped to my door. They look good and so far are performing very good. I still need to test it out more though. Good luck!

when i was on 15's, i didnt want to waste money on good tires. i spent $220 (mounted and balanced) for 4 dunlop d60a2's 195/60-15 (stock ex size). theyre cheap, and nothing special. i didnt see the point in spending double for regular street tires. i drive a lot and high performance tires just wear out too fast

Some people say Michelen MXV4 sucks but I think they are great tires. But it all depends on where you live. You may need to get some All Season tires.

I had some Mich MXV4 before the Falkens and they handled very poorly. The only good thing about them was that I was able to get 60,000 miles out of them.

I hated my stock Michelin MXV4's (205/60VR16) They lasted for about 22k and i was involved in a hydroplaning accident with these "all-season" tires.

I got some Yokohama A520's (225/55VR16). They lasted for like another 10-12k mi. Got them for like $74/each.

I currently have my Nankang Sport NS-II's (225/40HR18). They look great and handle wonderfully...maybe because they're low-profile. They're not V-rated though. I get them for $75/each.

try the continental contiextremecontact tires. there like 66 bucks and there ultra high performance all season and have a tread of 400. They have excellent reviews. once my prelude si rims get here I will put those on them.
