I agree that there isn't too much skill involved except maybe slightly on the takeoff. But besides that, the fun was when I beat a new v6 mustang manual with exhaust, had him by a fender. We both had good takeoff. He was cool about it though. So sometimes, sucky drivers = sucky times = for me which is always fun even though I know his car is much faster.
I wouldnt powerbrake if you like keeping your auto tranny. No real way to get the auto tranny off the line. It wont help ya much either. You should be able to get a 16.7. I run 16.7s with i/h/e on a 4door dx. So you better. Maybe even a 16.6.
how much would i run? ICEman CAI, DC Headers, HKS Muffler w/ 2.5 Piping, Cat. removed, H22A swap, AEM Pulleys, Them Ugly 96 EX Alloys (not the 95 Spokes)?

I would say low 15's maybe high 14's with good shifting....
