Default Need help finding bulb type....6th gen.

I just ordered red/clear tail lights for my 6th gen sedan. I'm going to change the bulbs as well. All the people with this setup, what do you guys recommend, should I put in a yellow bulb for the blinkers or go with the PIAA "hyperwhite" bulbs? For the front parking lights and blinkers, I've got the PIAA's in there now. What is the bulb # that goes in the reverse lights and the rear blinkers? Thanks!

Personally, I just use the stock bulbs. I dont like the way hyperwhite or orange bulbs show in the clear part in the day, so I just use the stock clear bulbs for both signal and reverse.

Something to consider.

first of all, good choice with these tail lights.... they look sweet!

secondly, lose the PIAA indicator bulbs at the front.... go back to amber.... and i suggest u get amber bulbs for the rear indicator lights too.... also, save some money and use the current reverse lights.... this is the setup i have on my car... hope this helps...

Avoid using hyperwhite bulbs completely. Not only are they dimmer but they burn hotter. OEM is best. Do not use hyperwhite in brake and parking lights. They will make your brake and parking lights dimmer. I know I had them before. So learn from other people's mistakes.

As for your turn signal stick with amber. Yellow is okay but on a sunny day they are not visible.

if you dont like the amber color in the lense when its not lit up, you can get those silver colored bulbs that shine amber when lit. apc makes them, as does phillips

Don't buy from pcp!! Over the weekend, there was a meet with 20 or so 6th gens. 5 of us had the exact same taillights. 4 of us complain about it leaking. I emailed and called them but they never responded. I strongly discourage you from picking this up. If I had to do it over again, Autodynamic.com has the same taillights but different manufacturer. Their service is much better and will take care of you.
