her's a few pics of mine finished. it's a cheap ass strut support ($20.00 on ebay), but it serves it's purpose.

I just finished putting it in... am not sure if I was able to tension the bar enough, the stock bar is in the way of the nut! I think I must remove the stock bar.

Has anyone removed the stock bar?

I want to install a strut bar on mine too. Do you have to pull up the plastic skirt where the wipers are to loosen the factory support bar? Does the skirt reinstall easily?

You all should have bought the Eibach Strut Bar. It's clearance, $44 or so from OptionsAuto. No removal of the factory bars, no pivot points.

It's beafy as hell, and you can't beat the price.

Just take the six strut tower blots off, three per side. Slide the bar on, it comes preassembled. Put the bolts back on. It's kind of a tight squeeze to tighten some of the bolts. I used a socket on some and a combo open-end/box-end wrench on the others. Overall ,I did it in 20 minutes in my driveway. At night!
