Where did you guys/gurls buy your indash flip out LCD monitors ? Im looking around for one but ive seen them range from $300-$1200 I want to know what a couple good brands are ...etc.

I have a clarion one, I payed about 800 for it but its the new widescreen edition

thats great, can you be a little more specific ? Like what model/where ya got it ...etc =)

does it have a TV tuner ? am/fm ? cd player ?

as a rule of thumb most all in 1 units (dvd/cd, receiver and so on) start at around 1200 many less than that are only screens and u gotta buy all the additional modules

and if you go cheap, everyone will be able to tell, because the screens are much better quality, stick with Alpine, Clarion. They have very nice screens....:thumbup:

Eclipse makes a good one, but if I am not mistaken it has some kind or theft recovory system on it.

I have a panasonic indash with the 7" fully motorized screen (cy-vmd900u) and the a/v control unit (ca-tu700u) for sale. I am asking 1100 shipped, i paid 1423 a few months back. I took it out of my car before i sold it and have not re-installed it. This screen has been the sharpest looking screen i have run accross yet in my days of installations. If you would like more info, just hit me up and i will be glad to answer any questions that you might have.

I just have a Legacy 7.2 in. screen, and the quality is pretty good, i know not as good as alpine or clarion, but i dont use it much so it serves its purpose for me.
