f23a1 in 4th gen...
Other then wiring and ECU changes should be no problem. Don't know if I'd turn an OBD-1 car into OBD-2.
I would research what OBD-1 ECU's you can use to run that engine and convert the engine to OBD-1 which is very simple.

just wondering cause i just got my hands on a 1991 se and a jdm h22... i really don't want to put the h22 in the 4th genner... but it looks like i'm going to have to...
i was wanting to put the h22 in my 6th gen and take the f23 and put it in the 4th...

either is do-able the only difference really is engine room. the 4th gen engine bay is smaller so the f22/f23/h22 fit snug in there not alot of working room but str8 swap in and out.. the 5th and up engine bays have alot more playing room to move things around
