well you can buy the clear plastic masks that are more permanent.... and you cant really see it on the car if you do a good job.. but i dunno how it would look on a car that already has rock chips etc....?
Samson,

It really depends on the amount of chips and color of the car. If you have a few and it is not white or silver then you woudl be okay to cover it with a clear bra.

I have seen a lot of them with a bra after a chips and it looks good. Of course if you are right up on it you can see the chip. Most of the time the product is like shirt and will shrink into the hole to hide it.

If you are gonna buy one, get it from here www.rockblocker.com. There are not better prices around to my knowledge.

Either way though, this isn't the best of solutions, neither is a bra for that matter, cause if I keep these on, the paint will be shielded from UV more than the rest of the car, so if I ever take those things off, and even if I dont, Ill have a 2-toned car...no?

At the moment Im thinking I will just deal with it, when it gets so bad that I cry at the sight of my front end I will either have the front or the entire car repainted

The product actually has UV protection built in. I have seen a car four years old and the product was taken off for the purpose of seeing if the paint discolored and it didnt.

That is exactly the problem....the UV protection.....
While the panel with the kit is protected, the rest of my car wont be.....which means if and when the panels come off, the panels under them will be a different shade than the rest of the car that was left to the elements.

So isn't that the point of getting the full kit?
