When I use to have 18's they quoted me of 13/wheel to get it mounted and balanced. Also it helps if you go to a tire place that does nothing but wheels/tires. The shop that I went to said that 18's are nothing new to them that's why they charge the same price no matter what size the wheel...

I had my 17's done for $40. My buddy had his 24s done @ the same time for $100 but to be fair, they did have to mount his 4 times to get them even close to being able to be balanced.

So, I guess it's all in where you go & how much trouble they are to do.

The guy @ the shop told me that the wheels that go all the way to the lip & rise above it are a pain & they charge double (it they can even do them) & don't guarantee not to scratch them

Damn - that's my situation. But I finally found a competent local place - they regularrly are asked by all the other local shops to mount and balance 20s forCustom Vettes in the area.

My wheel pattern goes all the way out to the lip! YIkes. Well - he did say $100 max, and he'll get 'em done, just give him the time. So - Sounds good to me. He said $15-20 each if they aren't a pain though.

Not too bad, considering.
