what about aem filters? some aem cais come with aem filter instead of knn. Are they just as good or what?

I wouldn't know about AEM filters. K&N uses its own patented technology, and I would assume AEM has something similar, but I wouldn't trust it completely. K&N has been at it over 30 years. I could go into all the physics of volume, air mass, and fluid dynamics, but I would probably bore everyone. Bottom line, K&N is the only one to trust 100%

If my memory serves me... AEM intakes used to come with K&N Filters, but now they make their own that is supposed to be similar, but actually yeild a couple more horses. Either way, I trust AEM, they have the best intakes out there for our cars, hands down imo.

mine came with an aem filter instad of a k&n... i haven't had any problems...
