Man, that sucks. I feel your pain, I've had a few things stolen off my car as well, but not as pricey as your stuff. Twice my stock emblems ( :eh: ) were stolen and the rear bumper clear side markers were cut out. I mean you think they could atleast take the time to remove the blub from the socket.. no they just cut the wires and leave... quick get away. I just wish if ppl were gonna steal something steal it nicely and leave stuff intact, heh. Don't worry bro, they will definately get what's commin' for them!

Damn dude I'm sorry about that, seems like your doing a very good job of dealing with it though, with the insurance and whatnot... good job. I would go ahead and get that coin thing fixed too while you are at it... and anything else you can. Insurance costs a ton these days so you deserve every penny you can get from them.

the trim piece isnt that expensive to replace. i'd rather replace the trim piece than shell out $600 for another headunit (my deductable is $500). if you just use the din sleeve to install the radio, its takes 1 sec to remove it. all the shops i trust install a strap on the back of the radio. most radios have a provision on the back to screw on a metal strap. you screw the other end of it to the metal support behind the dash (or the stock radio mounting screw hole, thats how i did it)

Check out accordstore.com I got a buch of little interior stuff for my Accord when it got all jacked up. Alot of the parts are inexpensive, but to my surprise, when they arrived they were genuine Honda!

Dang, I think I'm really going to install a taser-attached device to the alarm trigger and put it around the seat or dash or something...shit like that sucks; sorry to hear it happened to you.

good thing you don't have anything else...(TV, amp, subs, etc).

Mine has a security braket. Crime ain't high around here, but I rather not find out that's it's on the uprise by losing a $600 deck.
