I was gonna say those quotes for rebuilt trannys for the F22 are steep as fawk.
You can pick up used F series trannies all day long for around 300 or less...all you have to do is find someone who swapped out for an H and they might even give it to you just to be done with it.
I sold my engine and tranny for $350 and they were in great shape.

-anyways $650 for a tranny+ $700 for labor seems too high especially the tranny. that tranny is worth no more than say $400. i would try looking for the tranny yourself, cause the shop must be marking that up.
