What do you think will be the performance potential for this? It seems like the focus is on the V6. Will they forget about the I4?

It will be the same as all other Accords, same as all other cars that have two powerplants in their model year's offerings.

2003 I4 5 speed is fast stock (as fast as the 1998-2002 V6)...once modifications start coming out for the K24 it should be able to hit 14's easily.

You think this is a little optimistic? I mean it only has like 10 more horses than the 98-02 I-4's.

Trust me it won't be a BMW killer, small Civics and maybe some Altimas.

14's is good enough to beat most cars out there. I am not trying to be the fastest. I guess I am just trying to be better. I couldn't afford the V6 manual, and I wanted a manual. I mean I COULD have afforded it, but I am trying to get my finances in order. That is why I sadly had to trade in the 3000GT I figured that I could buy bolt ons as I went along. I know it won't handle as well without major mods or go as fast, but I would hate to not give it a shot I was only interested in parts I could add and remove myself with little automotive skill. And it can't be permanent since this is a lease.

I know my post may seem stupid to some, but I just hate feeling like there is nothing I can do. I mean I have the car for 4 years so I might as well do something to it ASAP so I can enjoy it
Thanks!

i doubt it'll run 14s with basic bolt-ons. it does have JDM h22 torque type torque with 161, but the car also weighs more too. i would say mid to high 15s.
