I test drove the Spec V before I got the accord. It seemed much faster and handled better. Of course I got a great deal on the accord and it is much nicer overall. I couldn't get the V6 though and want to bump my stats up to that of the Spec V as that seemed adequate to me. Right now I feel a bit slow

The I4 5speed Accord coupe is
2.4 liters Inline 4
3047lbs 160hp/161tq

The Spec V is
2.5 liters Inline 4
2743 lbs. 175hp/180tq

Remember that there was an issue with Nissan overstating their power ratings, it was mentioned over on car and driver or sport compact web. I was looking at it too, but it's too cheap looking inside, I ended buying the Sedan version though. Because it's more pratical and very roomy back seat I got a question though, I stuck on some Motegi MR7 17" and the ride is kinda stiff, how do correct this?

Bad news for me...

I have a 2003 7th gen 5-speed k24 Accord Coupe and was wondering when/if there was going to be a Hondata available for that? I know you guys have it for the Rsx and Civic K's.

In short, we're not going to be able to do anything for the 2003 Accord.

Honda is virtually split into two 'divisions' - the Civic/Integra division, and the Accord/Prelude division. There seems to only be limited communication between the two even though they are both building Honda cars. Even though the 2003 Accord has almost the same engine as the Civic/Integra(RSX) K20A/K20A2/K20A3, the Accord has completely different engine management. The ECU is very different, the wiring is different, and it's first Honda I've ever seen with a MAF sensor.

If I could time travel then I would go back and force Honda to make the Accords/Preludes in the same way as the Civic/Integras (which are a much better design from our point of view).

More time to research and refine it, and to further differentiate between the two brands.

Saw an SVT for the first time yesterday...but it was too heavy of traffic and couldn't race. It actually looked decent for a Focus. I would like to race a new Si as well. I think we can beat it, driver dependent. I test drove one for the heck of it before I bought the Accord and it seemed pretty hard to get the full potential out of it.

Hopefully the TSX mods will be easy enough for us. Hopefully nothing as complex (for me anyway) as "swapping heads". To be honest, I don't even know what that is. Of course, I am learning more every day
