even though blue HIDs(6000k) arent as bright as the white HIDs(4100k), they are STILL BRIGHT AS HELL. But then again, we're talking about HIDs, I wanna know about regular lightbulbs:fawk: .

My friend has a pair of plasma industries bulbs, they are very blue... and decently bright. But then again, I say very blue being that they are still headlights. To get actual blue headlights you cant see much, cause I have seen some really really colored ones before.

The sylvania cool blues are what I run, they aren't "fake HID", as they are basically regular bulbs with a very very light (hard to even see when looking at the bulb itself I guess) blue coat, what this does is gives a slightly blue/white tint (very similar to real HID), and then I also run 9005 lights in my 9006 sockets, so it winds up being as close to HID as one can get w/o shelling out $500 and looking gay by getting those stupid dark blue bulbs that do nothing but look GAY. Most people (even the guys who have HID) can't tell the diff. between mine and HID *shrug*,, whether what they is true, I dunno, but that's what they thought till I told them what it was?

If you haven't seen my Accord. I have E39 HID projector in my Accord. So yes I know what HID are and the color temperature. Where I live is mostly BMW, Lexus and Mercedes so 5 in 10 cars have HID. So I've seen all the different color temperature from 4100, 5200, 6000, and 8000K HID. I went with the 4100K HID for pure white light since the sole purpose of HID is bright white usable light. If I wanted blue I would of gotten hyperwhites.

On top of that my high beam is 9005 Silverstar. My dad has H4 Silverstar, My mom has 9007 Silverstar, and my sister has 9004 Silverstar.

So are you saying that the Silverstar isn't blue enough and you want bluer?

Looking head on into the light they can't tell cause it'll be bright anyway, but if you were to compare the brightness of the light in front of the car between halogen and HID you can certainly tell. Not only by the intensity but also the beam pattern.

Well some Silverstar unfortunately lasted a few months which still can be under warranty. Sylvania claims they will last about 50-75% so about (1000-1500 hours) a normal life of a halogen bulb. So 2-3 years depending on how often you use them. If somebody knows the exact time and life please post it. I do know it will never be the same life as a normal halogen.

You can order online for about $45 a pair with a $10 mail in rebate so it ends up to be $35 a pair. www.suvlights.com

Or the auto stores sell them for about $45-50 with a $10 mail in rebate.
