Advice: What would you do??
its been answered already but u should have filed a claim from the start. i'm sorry i dont play that hit and run shit. u should have called the cops on the spot and filed a report this way u have it on writing what happened. this way if he shits on u u have a claim against his insurance company or a claim against ur company cuz u dont want to come out of pocket for his mistake

Just wondering but how many of you are attorneys since you all seem willing to spit out legal advice with such authority?

Maybe because some of us (or our parents, in my case) have gone through this exact type of accident before. This is what they told me. BY LAW they are REQUIRED to give the name of their insurance company to you. Once you get the name of their company you are done dealing with that person. If they don't give you the name of their insurance company, go to the police station and file a report with the person's name and license plate number and let the police do their job.
