Don't waste ur money or time.. just unlatch the bars from the hook like thing, but don't remove them.. you can leave them hanging.. I have the same speakers in the same car.. fits fine that way. Trunk works the same way too..

 

Do you have pics? How did you un-hook the springs and still keep them functioning? I'd love to be able to run a JL Audio VR or MB quart 6x9 in my rear deck. My TS's are nice but hey, bigger would be better.
