what you need to do is just push the power cable through the rubber gromet thinggy. it's pretty simple, if you need to run the bigger power wire, then just use the exacto knife to enlarge the hole a bit more.

This sounds Ideal....but when you say FOG LIGHTS, Im assuming its going to be a VERY LONG run...does it go OUTSIDE the car? or directly in the car?

um... theres a hole in the fire wall there.... theres just a rubber plug were u can run a wire thru.....

attach the wire to a bent out coat hanger and run it thru there, its on the driver side, by the brake fluid and clutch fluid, if you get inside your car and look on that side under the dash you'll see where all the wires run thru it

i ran mine through the passenger side fender. you can see it when i open the passenger door, but who cares.... i guess that's what i get for not buying a long enough cable.

this is for 6th gen, but it may help to figure out a good spot.

the coat hanger thing is the best way to push a wire through the rubber grommit and i'd go for sure through the passenger side as it's easier to "find" the wire from under the dash. took me about 5 minutes to get it done.
