Default Bilstein Engine Flush

Has anybody done it?

What are you feelings on it?

i believe its the kind with the motor off...

how much have you paid for it? I have seen it for $80 +cost of oil change.

How much would you pay for it?

i dun think it's bad... it cleans out the engine really good... get rid of all the nasty stuff inside the engine... recommended for older cars... $80 sounds alrite...

80...yeah right. BG tranny, coolant, and AC flushes go for more than 80 at our shop. 80 for an entire motor flush (not sure what that entails) is BS!

Question have you seen those engine flushes sold at the auto stores ie: GUNK do they work will they harm the engine parts? In a 99-2000 year car?

the advantage to the bilstein is that the engine is not running...the flush stuff is heated and circulated under pressure out of the system.

if you use the gunk stuff you run your motor and the crap could end up in the wrong place....

this is all theoretical....

but i was told that engine flush damages the gaskets often causing them to leak

i have used them in all my cars and i had no trouble at all well i know ull be seeing some nasty stuff coming out of there well thats just me :thumbup:

i'm not sure wat engine flush u're talking abt... i did mine at the dealership for abt $90 and they flushed chemicals into the engine to clean it out.... is the bilstein flush more expensive??

Well where I work we charge more than 80 for a coolant, tranny or AC flush. What does the engine flush include? Do they just pour in some additive and call it a day?
