If you want a "get out of my way" kinda car...you really need to sell the Accord and get something else. Honda styling is the classic example of understated. Some may call it boring even. Why? Because it's meant to provide reasonably nice transportation from A to B, get good gas mileage, and be dependable, and it's styled conservatively so it won't look dated in 5 years. Look at the fifth gen Accord. The damn thing looks better than half the new cars on the road, and it's going on 9 years old! I feel the same way about the 6th gen as well.

The young guys like us on this board that are really into cars, and modifying our cars make up probably <1% of all Accord owners out there. It just wasn't made to be a "get out of my way car" like a C5 Vette, Cobra, Z28, 3000GT, Supra, etc.

I'm rambling myself now, but I just want you to realize why Honda doesn't put a big ass wing on their cars. And I'm very glad they don't.
Yeah, I hear ya....I guess I was just a little dissapointed when I see the kind of wings they decide to put on new Civics that are kinda high (Honda), and that they are marketing the new Accord Coupe as a full bodied sports package---especially the top of the line with the manual and 17 inch wheels...does this car not deserve an aggressive spoiler package to complement the fact that Honda is marketing this car as a Prelude stand in and honest to goodness sports coupe? I know underrated styling is their calling card---but can't we get a bigger wing out of it??!! LOL.

If you want my opinion, I would much rather have a low spoiler than a stupid ricey high spoiler that kills rearward vision. It looks good on a boy racer car like the ITR or even a Civic, but a big coupe like the Accord deserves a low spoiler.

Have you ever seen an NSX? Does that have a high spoiler? That's where the inspiration for the taillights on the Accord Coupe came from, and the design calls for a low wing bridging the two trangle ends. Not a high goofy spoiler that looks like a basket handle.

Yes, of course I have seen an NSX, and I know very well that the inspiration for the Accord Coupe's tail lights came from the NSX's tail...and you are right, the design was to mimmick the "bridging" of the triangular tail lamps---as does the NSX.
