Default Does Honda offer discounts for recent grads?

Or, is it dealer dependent? Other manufacturers offer appx a $500 discount.
Thanks,
Dani

Not that I know of. Honda is one of the few manufacturers these days that doesn't have to give our rebates to sell cars...Ford loses something like $2000 on every car is sells, think about that. You get what you pay for...or what they pay you for.

What Honda are you thinking of getting, Dani?

I used to sell Honda's and Acura's and we used this as a bait to get new college grads in the door. I believe it is dealer specific, if we got a customer that SAID that they we're a reecent college grad then the sales manager would put on the price sheet that there was a "recent grad" rebate on there. The only thing that was, it was a bargaining tool. They can afford to appear to "give you" $500 or however much towards the purchase price. In reality, they are only lowering the "cushion" they have between the grand total price and the invoice price.(this amount depends on how much the dealership makes". sorry its bit lengthy, but I hope you catch my drift.

Thanks, jackass. I wish they would offer rebates to college grads, but they don't because they don't need to to sell cars. That was the statement I was making. I wish they offered them, especially on the Acura line.

Hmm...I am getting my car (2003 LX with side airbags and leather steering wheel and shift knob) for invoice price, so I guess competition is driving price down to invoice. I wish that there was some sort of Honda USA grad rebate on top of that - could use the $500 as I am still in school.

I am still trying to decide between Blue and Graphite 8-)
Thanks for the info!

If you got em to invoice, there isn't much more to go. I hope you're getting the 5 speed I like the graphite color, but the blue color is really nice looking. Congrats on the car, the Accord LX is a great choice

Hey, let's keep this thread clean
Definitely getting a manual, that will mitigate the suffering as I come from my 318is.
