9005 conversion, beam unequal...
I just did the conversion. After the bulbs were aligned, I noticed that the vertical "wideness" of the beam , by that I mean from the bottom of the glare that the beam produces to the top of the glare that the beam produces is very "wide" on the left headlight but not on the right. The right headlight does not have as much glare on the top of the beam. Has anyone else experienced this??? I can't get a pic too work. Hope you guys know what I mean.
I've had the same thing. It's because my housing was too dirty + my cover was hazed and got so many needle point scratches. I took them appart yesterday evening, clean the housing and sand the cover today. Put them back on, it's great and the outputs are the same again. Check to see if there's a layer of dirt on your housing, they would cause the same problem.
if not, make sure you have both 9005 bulbs in there

the beam patterns could be diff from left to right, which is something you cant really change.
i think its designed a certain way to avoid blinding omcoming drivers.
try cleanign them as suggested above as well

When you mean right are you talking about standing in front of your car and right is actually driver side?
The reason why the driver side doesn't have as much glare is because your DOT approved headlight is left hand drive. That means more glare will be on the passenger side to light up the signs and less on the driver side which decrease glare into oncoming traffice. If your stock height aim your headlight just a bit lower.

There was more glare on the left bulb, sitting in the car looking foward, but I fixed it. Seems as though the extra o-rings I put on were making them different. I took the rings off and put them back on and now its good. Thanks for all the responses.
One thing though, comparing the 9005's I just converted with the one 9006 I still have, there doesn't seem to be a difference. They are both eurolites.

one thing, make sure the bulb is in all the way. if only 2 of the wedges are in the socket then you will get a angled bulb. that will affect the lighting. try it out let me know. i even found a spider in my dads corola. that thing lived there for a while. even made webs. Took a air-in-a-can to clean it off. spider is roasted but the webs are gone.
