When you mean right are you talking about standing in front of your car and right is actually driver side?

The reason why the driver side doesn't have as much glare is because your DOT approved headlight is left hand drive. That means more glare will be on the passenger side to light up the signs and less on the driver side which decrease glare into oncoming traffice.
