Default smoking 6th gen tail lights?

hey, im looking for something a little different. im liking the look of black and chrome in one package but i still want something different on the arse end of my car.

its a 2001 (so i have the red/clear tails) and i plan on taking out the amber when the weather gets a little warmer.

anyhow is it possible to smoke the bottom part of the tail light where it is clear, like this:

my car is nighthawk black with 15% tint all around, and black housing headlights

would it look clean?

thanks.

thats why i did the wal*mart tint, its not a spray but a film, and just put it over the tail lense...

very easy and it gives the whole tail light an even tint vs spraying

I used the testors paint on mine too with a topcoat of dupli-color. take off the lights, put them on newspaper, and then spray clouds of tint coats evenly every couple of minutes. about 6-7 layers will do and then about 2-3 layers of clearcoat will seal it from coming off with the crap that this world will give it.
